Christmas Day 2012

 Christmas Day has arrived!!
We all got ready for church before we went downstairs to see what Santa brought us.  Here we are at the top of the stairs! This is such an exciting moment!

Jackpot!  :)
Santa gave Jed an upright tool chest!  Don't ask me how he got it down the chimney, but where there's a will, there's a way!

Eliza was delighted with a chest-full of fairy costumes!

Santa gave Ben a HUGE Marble Track!

Sammy got some sweet toys.  :)

And here I am showing off what Santa gave me - a new cell phone, beenie & gloves, jewelry, and even the new kitchen chair I'm sitting on.  :)  (Plus Adobe Photoshop! Yay!)

We took a break from our new exciting toys to enjoy a Christmas Morning breakfast - our traditional Christmas Eggs along with bacon, orange juice, and fresh blackberry cream cheese muffins. Yum!

After church, which was wonderful, we came home to Christmas festivities again.
Opening all our wonderful gifts from under the Christmas tree!

We spent all afternoon opening presents, and then we had a very fun, laid-back time of relishing  everything we opened from each other and loved ones.

Gotta have a picture of the kids in front of the Christmas Tree. We squeezed this in before bedtime. :)

And, joy of joys, the morning after Christmas!!
(Eliza gave Ben a Smithsonian excavation kit for gems and semi-precious stones, along with an identification guide.)

(Grandma Walker gave Eliza two Pixos sets, so she's busy creating something awesome.)

(Best of all, Daddy spent all morning with the kids building Ben's new marble track.
Here is the final product. Simply glorious!!)

Wow! Okay that picture of Ben with the excavation set is PRICELESS. I love that he is really wearing the safety glasses.
