Sweet little Sammy loves Charlotte more than anything. He is always aware of her. If she is laying on the ground in the family room, he will stop to lay down by her, give her kisses & hugs, and talk to her. It's funny, because Ben and Eliza were never that 'into' their baby sibling when they were his age. Sammy has always been a tender, happy, caring, cuddly boy.  One of the first words he learned was, "Okay?" and if someone would get hurt or would cry, he would cock his head into your face and say that as if he was asking, "Are you okay?"  He still does that, but has a bigger vocabulary now. :)

I took this picture on August 15, when Charlotte was 3 and a half months old. She rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time on August 20th.  She is still our naturally happy, non-demanding, content, and perfectly darling baby.

Jed ordered an erector set for Ben online, and Ben worked on one of the models for a week during the summer.  There they are, hard at work before even eating breakfast.

 Sweet little Charlotte! We love her! She smiles and laughs and is such an angel.

On August 23, Jed and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary.  These have been nine fabulous years, spent with my very best friend. Nine years, four kids, five moves, and eight years of schooling later, we are still in love, and more so!
Jed took me on a surprise date to the Tigers Game for our anniversary, which was a lot of fun. I kept track of the batters' hits and bases on the scorecard, and that was actually really fun!  We had amazing seats - just behind the 3rd base.
