We had a fun Fourth of July party at our friend Melody's house. She had a few families over for dinner and dessert and then we lit fireworks in the street in front of their house. Jed had to work evening/night shifts all weekend, so he couldn't make it. Anyway, it was such a fun evening!Ben and Eliza loved the fireworks. Eliza held her own sparklers without any trepidation. I love that picture, below, of Benjamin bookin' it back to the group when the firecrackers were about to go off. :)

My favorite picture is the one of Ben running away from the impending firework! We're excited to hang out with you guys at the reunion; hopefully your kids are as sweet in real life as they look in the pictures :).

yay how fun!! Love the 4th of July. Gabe was just so excited to see Ben and Eliza - he was like "there's Ben!! " like he had made some discovery! :)
