On July 26 we went blueberry picking at Erie Orchards. It was so fun! We only picked for about 40 or so minutes, and we ended up with lots of blueberries. Mmmm!
Ben and Eliza were good blueberry picking helpers. Sam, on the other hand, was a blueberry picking eater. In fact, he didn't even pick that many, so he was actually just a blueberry eater. He bummed a partly filled basket off someone and then walked around with us, munching on the blueberries in his basket. :) Before we could drive to the peach trees, he had to finish off the last few berries. :)
Here's Ben picking a few peaches.
When we unpacked our lunch, no one was that interested in sandwiches - nothing in a sack lunch can compare to handfuls of sweet, fresh blueberries!
We bought a little goat food and fed their goats, which was extra fun for the kids.
We love Michigan U-Pick farms!
